Sustainability and fashion meeting in Copenhagn
Copenhagen is a known capital of fashion in Scandinavia, and the world. The fashion industry is known for contributing to big environmental issues. Many small businesses and fashion designers have taken a step in the right direction in becoming more sustainable.

Res Res is a clothing shop started in 2016 in Copenhagen. The name Res Res stand for Respect Resources. They are focusing on giving better alternatives in the fashion industry. Their partner brands are handpicked.
“Everything has to be transparent, the brands are mostly just European and preferably Danish” says Ofelia Munkholt Sørensen who has worked in the shop for four years.
One of their Swedish brands Nudie jeans offer free repairs for life on their jeans. This makes the clothes last for a long time and is an answer to fast fashion.

Moving away from fast fashion
A capsule wardrobe has become a new term in fashion. You buy high quality clothes that are timeless and go together in different combinations.
“It’s about moving away from fast fashion “overload” and instead creating a more mindful, intentional relationship with clothing.” Says Sanna Due, expert on waste reduction from the EEA.
Happy to make better choices
Another View is another business that aims to be more sustainable. They feel that the costumers are happy to make a better choice when it comes to buying clothes.
"We experience that the costumer care about the product they buy and wants to make a contribution to the change of the fashion industry" says Mette Groth, cofounder of the shop.
