The final's of the European 3x3 Basketball Cup 2025
Lithuania take gold for the men’s, and the Netherlands take gold for the women's on the last day of the FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup 2025.

The 10th edition of the European 3x3 Basketball Cup took place over three days this weekend in Copenhagen.
3x3 basketball is quite different from regular basketball. Fast-paced, physical, and hectic. There are no breaks, only time-outs, and the whole game is just 10 minutes long. The first to 21 points wins, or the team with the highest points after 10 minutes.
This year's men’s MVP, Ignas Vaitkus, said, “What makes 3x3 basketball different is physicality and speed. The most important thing is to have a short memory.”
The Lithuanian men's team came out on top for the first time in history after a hard-fought victory of 21-17 over their Baltic neighbours, Latvia.
Vaitkus dominated the basket in the dying minutes of the game to give his team the comeback win they deserved and earn himself this year's MVP.
“MVP wasn’t something I was aiming for; the main thing is getting the result each game, but it’s a nice little bonus,” said Vaitkus.
The Dutch women secured gold with a 21-16 win over Azerbaijan, proving why they were the favourites and the current world number one.

A precise 11 points from star player Noortje Driessen kept the Dutch team in a dominant position throughout the game.
The Netherlands are on track to have the best season ever recorded by a 3x3 women's team.
